CNA

IA INTERIOR ARCHITECTURE | TOM HARRIS PHOTOGRAPHY

CNA's move from their iconic Chicago address was driven by the desire to enhance three key aspects of the organization - choice, collaboration and community. By reducing private office spaces, the new layout increases collaborative space by 25% while decreasing the footprint by an impressive 60%.

The interior design is inspired by the 70-degree slant of the CNA logo. That angle appears throughout the space — in ceiling lighting, wall panels, textile patterns and even table legs. The bold brand red also figures heavily, popping off a palette of whites and grays, and occasionally complemented by cool tones to keep collaborative spaces fresh.

The new, leaner space, spread over 13 floors, makes their 1,700 Chicago employees feel more connected to one another and to the technology critical to their daily work.
